Please find below the arrangements for next Friday, 19th October, at Overstone Park.

The day will start with bacon rolls/tea/coffee at 9 am, followed by a 9 hole Scramble.

As we have 3 balls, we will play a Texas Scramble, i.e. you all tee off, then choose your best shot, etc etc, but you must take 3 drives each.   

However, we have one 4-ball which will play a Florida Scramble.   In a Florida Scramble you all tee off, then choose your best shot.  The person whose drive/shot you choose cannot play the next shot. You must take 2 drives each, with one spare.   All 4 can putt.    

First named in each team is Team Captain - they know what to do!  Record your gross score.  We’ll do the sums……

We have been unable to get an extra morning tee time so have been asked to ‘get a wiggle on’ and try to all get out by 1044.    I’ve given 7 minute tee times as a guide. Please do your best to cooperate.   You don’t want grumpy Overstone members snapping at your heels……

We have 5 coming just for lunch/18 holes so they will tee off first to maximise the lunch time.  I’ll confirm later but expect the rolling lunch of sandwiches and chips to start at 12.30.
