2026 marks a major milestone: 50 years of the Open University Golf Society. Thanks to a successful funding bid to the OU Club, the Society will be marking this occasion in style. Planned highlights include:

• A flagship 50th Anniversary event at Stocks Golf Club (12 June 2026) — a rare opportunity to play a prestigious venue at an exceptional value
• New trophies, including a dedicated Anniversary Trophy and a proposed Four Nations Trophy at Championship Day
• An OUGS Hall of Fame, recognising members who have contributed exceptionally over the decades
• Special prizes celebrating different aspects of the game — not just winning scores
• A possible weekend / overnight event, subject to member interest

This is a celebration of our past, but also a statement of intent for the future of OUGS.
